the-unpopular-opinions: I instantly lose respect for anyone I see wearing a Che Guevara T-shirt or any kind of Che merchandise. Being of Cuban descent, I’ve heard close members of my family recount many tales in which either a family member was dragged away to be executed, or they personally witnessed a family member be executed during the Che-supported Castro Revolution. All my family members that lived in Cuba were killed, and only the few who managed to escape  in time were able to survive. This is true of both sides of my family. Whenever I see anyone using Che’s image, and using it to portray him as a freedom fighter, I just want to punch them in the face.
